Adewole A. Abioye is a Nigerian American film director based in Chicago. He received his B.A. in Cinema Art + Science from Columbia College. His cinema seeks to champion the lived realities of marginal voices through the prism of race, identity, history, place, and memory.
Recently, Abioye produced a commissioned video project for designer Norman Teague’s curatorial exhibition at MoMA, titled, Norman Teague: Jam Sessions. His latest film, Love Reigns Supreme, is currently streaming across PBS platforms.
