Adewole A. Abioye is a Nigerian-American film director based in Chicago. He received his B.A. in Cinema Art and Science at Columbia College. His cinema seeks to champion the lived realities of marginal voices through the prism of race, identity, history, place, and memory.
After an extended hiatus from filmmaking to focus on his expanding family, Abioye is currently completing his debut feature, My Father Lives Here.
